Gracie “Enchanted’s Gracie Blu”
Meet our Gracie! She was born in 2017 to mother Tallahassee and father Mozzie. You can see Gracie’s pedigree on K9data.com.
Gracie comes from the well-known Stanroph line, which is known for temperament and confirmation. She is one of the few Stanroph bitches currently producing puppies in the United States. For more information about the Stanroph line, please see Tallahassee’s page!
She is an incredibly loving and cuddly girl who relishes in taking a nap with her momma. She is easy-going and does not frighten easily, she enjoys the company of other dogs, and is very easy to train. She means the world to us, and we couldn’t imagine a life without her!
Gracie and her family relocated from Texas to Colorado in 2021, and she is no longer part of our active breeding program.

Meet Gracie’s Momma, Barbie Hosford
My connection to dogs started out in my backyard as a little girl. I would play for hours with our family dog, who ended up being more of a stability in my life than I realized at the time. Later on in my life, I married my best friend (Michael) and had three amazing children. My love for working with dogs began while learning to train our family Goldens while we were living abroad in the United Kingdom. It is here that I fell in love with European Goldens and their incredible, calming temperaments.
As I grew older and my connection with animals deepened, my need to do right by the animal in my life took on a journey of its own. That’s when I found positive reinforcement training - it made sense to me to reward the animal for what I want, and not to correct the animal for what I don’t. This journey first began with my two horses Aidan and Rosa, who lived in my back yard at the time. Rosa was petrified of the process of being loaded into a trailer, and through positive reinforcement training, she now loads with no stress what-so-ever. I have worked to train horses, many dogs, and even a beta fish over the past 10 years. I am also a certified Equine Shiatsu Therapist, which means that my dogs LOVE a good massage!
